No Smoking

One more movie is from Anurag Kashyap who is also director of one nice movie “Black Friday”. The star casting of this movie is John Abraham, Ayesha Takia, Paresh Rawal, Ranvir Sheorey and music director Vishal Bharadwaj.

The story is based on K (John Abraham) a chain smoker with an attitude problem, His wife Anjali (Ayesha Takia) threatens to leave him if he does not change his habits. One of his friends Abbas Tyrewala (Ranvir Sheorey) recommends him to a rehabilitation centre.

When He arrives at rehabilitation centre he finds out that the place is no ordinary centre which uses standard methods of making you quit smoking. Its run by Baba Bengali and the (Paresh Rawal) who forcefully makes K sign on an agreement where the former will abide by Baba s conditions in order to quit smoking. The movie story is quite interesting but there is no synchronization between story and direction of the movie. Over all its performance is below average. Smoking is a general habit in human beings and bollywoood celebrity is used smoking in generally film shooting and scenes. But I want to say this is show bed effect on new generation. And many film celebrity just like john is not shot any scene is based on smoking.
