The story of Derek Rocco of Siena is a live film directed by Ago Panini, in these days in waiting rooms with the sun, and performed by Claudio. The man was executed by lethal injection on 14 September 2000, in Virginia, on charges of having murdered his girlfriend. And a controversial court case with many gaps in the investigation and no irrefutable proof of guilt, as always claimed by family members and his lawyers. The film will be co-produced by Just us production, Derek Rocco Foundation of Siena, Monte Siena, with the support of Toscana Film Commission. Filming will begin in Canada and continue in Tuscany, starting from next July 30. The output is expected in theaters by the end of 2009 and part of the cash will be donated to the Foundation Derek Rocco, who for seven years fighting to abolish the death penalty worldwide. Via
